The Meghan Method

There were a couple of things about The Meghan Method that caught my eye at Barnes and Noble yesterday. One, she has a fabulous name (ha!) and two, her book promises readers a step by step guide to interior design.

I love interior design, but I must admit I have always felt a bit intimated by the whole process.  I have always felt more comfortable styling clothes than my home, and for some reason always felt that my home design skills would be inadequate.
So...enter The Meghan Method. Meghan Carter from Ask the Decorator interviewed interior design experts from across the country and compiled their design advice, processes and suggestions. Using their feedback, she created a "recipe" for the design process. As I started to read her book yesterday I felt like she was talking directly to me with her take on the typical design process (see below!).

Although I love the eclectic look of collecting unique pieces over a period of time Meghan's design process helps readers to create a vision and then execute it every step of the way. The Meghan Method is filled with beautiful pictures, easy to follow guides and worksheets that you can print from here for free

I can't wait to dive deeper into this book and complete my design vision for our home...more to come!

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!
