Holiday Style

The Holidays are here and I wanted to share some of my favorite Holiday looks with you! Whether you have an office Christmas party, a Holiday party with your girlfriends, or just family Christmas dinner, some of these looks can be incorporated into your style this season!

Just remember a few rules for dressing appropriately to an office Christmas party. Since you will be surrounded by your boss and coworkers be sure to still dress modestly and appropriately for this occasion! If wearing a skirt, be sure it's a long enough length and you aren't showing too much leg. The same goes for cleavage. Don't choose options that are too low cut or too tight. Even though it's a Holiday party, it is still a work function. You can still be festive and stylish while being modest.
Holiday Style is so chic because of the classic styles but with some added glam! If you are usually a simple dresser use this time of year as an excuse to take some risks with different styles and materials! Try a plain top that has some embellishments or sequins, or a solid black dress that has some mixed leather detail. The Holidays are all about statement pieces paired with classics! So throw on some sequins, add a pop red lip color, or add a statement necklace such as this bib chain necklace from Bauble Bar, and you are ready to take on all the parties on your calendar this Christmas!

I added the JCrew Downing Tote to my Christmas list, and already scooped up the Bauble Bar Statement Necklace and the JCrew Factory version of the vest shown. Have a wonderful day!!

Mixing Prints

This weekend was the first hint of fall that we have felt in Fort Lauderdale so far this season, and it was amazing! I jumped at the chance to wear a striped sweater from J.Crew Factory that I talked about in Instagram

This outfit is pretty basic in terms of accessories because I was on my way to volunteer at our nursery at church. This is my first attempt at "outfit" pictures, so please bear with me as I learn to not look so awkward! Ha!

Loved the details on this lightweight sweater!

I had a little photo bomber!

Gingham Shirt, Striped Sweater, Jeans (old, similar), Shoes, Cross Body Bag (old, similar)

Happy  Wednesday!
