How I Wore Fall White

Our family went to the pumpkin patch today...our third of the year! Our girls love all of the fall activities and today it actually finally felt like fall in South Florida, so it was especially beautiful! Avery got her face painted like a princess cat, picked out a pumpkin and made an attempt at going up the huge bounce house slide...before deciding it was too high!

I found the cutest olive high neck cold shoulder top from Target and it is perfect for a slightly cool day with a lot of activity going on. Plus it is just $20 and is available in some sizes too!  I paired it with my distressed white jeans and cut out booties. I often break the no white rule after Labor Day, and one way that I wear white in fall is to pair it with neutrals to warm it up. Below is a picture of how I wore this look and then a product round up including the details!

Six Lounge Pants to Live In

If you are anything like me, a great pair of lounge pants are a key essential to your wardrobe! For the past week, my family has been staying in the mountains of North Carolina (Cashiers/Highlands area) and some cute and comfortable leggings were exactly what I wanted to be wearing for roasting marshmallows by the fire or running around with my babies in the cool mornings.

With fall weather upon us and the holidays around the corner, I was inspired to create this collection of cute lounge pants for you! The waffle-knit leggings (1&6) are SO comfortable, and I got them on sale for about $13! The high waisted leggings (4) and Zella live in leggings (2) also double for work out clothes so you get an extra bang for your buck!

What kind of lounge pants are your favorite?! I hope you have a wonderful Thursday!

Holiday Style

The Holidays are here and I wanted to share some of my favorite Holiday looks with you! Whether you have an office Christmas party, a Holiday party with your girlfriends, or just family Christmas dinner, some of these looks can be incorporated into your style this season!

Just remember a few rules for dressing appropriately to an office Christmas party. Since you will be surrounded by your boss and coworkers be sure to still dress modestly and appropriately for this occasion! If wearing a skirt, be sure it's a long enough length and you aren't showing too much leg. The same goes for cleavage. Don't choose options that are too low cut or too tight. Even though it's a Holiday party, it is still a work function. You can still be festive and stylish while being modest.
Holiday Style is so chic because of the classic styles but with some added glam! If you are usually a simple dresser use this time of year as an excuse to take some risks with different styles and materials! Try a plain top that has some embellishments or sequins, or a solid black dress that has some mixed leather detail. The Holidays are all about statement pieces paired with classics! So throw on some sequins, add a pop red lip color, or add a statement necklace such as this bib chain necklace from Bauble Bar, and you are ready to take on all the parties on your calendar this Christmas!
